Mary Jo Hudson officially took office as the 46th Director of the Ohio Department of Insurance on January 8, 2007. She was appointed by Governor Ted Strickland to join his cabinet on December 21, 2006.

By virtue of her appointment, Ms. Hudson also succeeds to the position of Liquidator and Rehabilitator, respectively, of all the presently open insurance liquidation and rehabilitation estates. Please see the Ohio Department of Insurance for more information regarding Ms. Hudson.
