On November 24, 2009, Judge Bender APPROVED the Liquidator's Motion for Order Approving the Liquidator's Final Report of Claims, Reserve for Administrative Expenses, and Authorizing Final Distribution
of Assets of The P.I.E. Mutual Insurance Company. Please click this link to the Order. The Liquidator will make a 82.1412% final pro rata distribution to claimants holding allowed
Class 2 claims. There are insufficient funds available in the P.I.E. estate to pay allowed Class 2 claims in full and to pay any claims in any class below Class 2. Please click
this link to a Searchable PDF of the Liquidator’s Final Report of Claims.
The Liquidator plans to issue the distribution checks on or before December 7, 2009.
NOTE: The Liquidator redacted (removed) the claimants' names and addresses on the Report in response to claimants' requests that we protect their contact information. Therefore, to locate your Class 2 claim in the Searchable PDF
of the Liquidator's Final Report of Claims, you must have your Proof of Claim number, which is an 8-digit number, to search the Report. On the Report, you will see the Liq# located in the left hand column.
